"Domy Reiter Soffer choreographed the last piece on the programme "Olympics" to music by Sousa and Ferras. He indulged in a clever and very Funny Burlesque Olympics. The acrobatic dancing of the men was excellent and well timed, and the uproarious Rugby and soccer matches were extremely comic. The dancer's interpretation of the whole piece was of high technical feats and fun. From the audience point of view, it was the piece of resistance".
Seamus Kelly-(The Irish Times).
"Humour of a more robust nature is to be found in the Ballet "Olympics", to music by Sousa and Ferras choreographed by Domy Reiter Soffer. Undoubtedly a most popular item with the audience, the ballet is cleverly designed and hilariously performed especially by the male dancers. The suite of dances including Soccer match that presents as many fouls free for alls as ever graced the fields and a rugby match equally funny and unorthodox. The acrobatic dancing displays in the other dances, Tennis match and Table Tennis were extremely funny and clever. The whole work in fact was quite remarkable".
Mary Mac Goris- ( The Irish Press).
"From the audience point of view, the piece that was most enjoyable predictably was "Olympics" choreographed by Domy Reiter Soffer to music by Sousa and Ferras. The Symphony orchestra conducted by Pro. Fleischmann played extremely well and added much to the enjoyment of the piece. The foul Soccer match and the acrobatic Rugby match were hilariously funny. In fact the whole ballet showed the dancers at their best. There was a lyrical all female acrobatic number that made a beautiful patterns and some high jinx steps that showed how well trained the company were. No doubt the ballet is a great addition to the company".
