Preludes

The Libi Concert at the Jerusalem Theatre directed and choreographed by Domy Reiter- Soffer was most unusual. Combining Orchestra and solo pianist with movement and dancers.                                                                                                             "Preludes" music by Scriabin played by Miss Hachamov with great expertise while dancers danced, interpreting the preludes which were based on the love affair of the composer. Each of the preludes indicated a different facet of the relationship from the romantic to disharmony while both dancers and pianist related to each other as if they were part of the whole.
The choreographer created an extraordinary ambience with interesting and exciting movements taking advantage of the Scriabin music with its intricate rhythms and sweeping romantic chords. Both dancers Miss Goldberg and Mr. Zev danced solos and duet with passion and strong technical feats. There were many moving moments that sent everyone in the audience reeling with excitement.
