Six Minutes Music by Mozart preformed in Tel Aviv Museum Theatre at a Libi Concert last night. Choreographed by Domy Reiter- Soffer with much care and Humor. The Costumes which he also designed to 18th century look, were skeletal crinolines and wigs made of mesh which the men also wore, were extremely light and effective as well as having the orchestra on stage added to the ambiance of the work.
The dancers danced among the orchestra giving a sense of 18th century party with all the intrigues and funny going on. The choreography was although modern it had the minuet flavor and style to it, which made it interesting and visually exciting. The eight dancers danced with bravura and high technical expertise while each minuet had a style and different facet of theatricality with very clever staging that created unusual atmosphere of an elegant period in history that reminds one of the Play and movie of Amadeus. The work delighted the audience and gave a standing ovation to the performers, both the orchestra and the dancers alike.
